3D.NY Sweeps a Triple-Header

Posted by: toast

3D.NY took it upon themselves to extend their double-header into a triple-header. Kicking the night off, 3D.NY easily swept aside Plus4 in the CGS ProAm Division. Next up, 3D.NY was able to squeak past Vanskap in OT to advance to the next round of CEVO Placement where they faced off against Skull Gaming. Skull managed to beat 3D about a week ago, but didn't fair so well tonight as 3D.NY easily dispatched them, 13-2. These two wins mean that 3D.NY has secured a spot in the CEVO P division.

Toast Time: The Forgotten Few

Posted by: toast

We've seen what seems like hundreds of lists arguing who the best players in the league are and who deserves to be franchised. However, we have yet to give credit where credit is due. Every franchise has a couple of players who are the backbone of their franchise, but for whatever reason, they are overshadowed and often times overlooked. I thought what better way to recognize them than in a Toast Time article, I can think of no greater honor!

3D.NY Sneaks Past Complexity

Posted by: toast

Without a doubt their toughest opponent yet, Complexity gave 3D.NY quite a scare, but ultimately couldn't string together enough rounds to win the match. A mediocre first-half saw 3D trailing LA by only one round. The second half was more of the same as 3D.NY and LA traded rounds in an exciting match which came down the to the 18th and final round. Thanks to excellent play all around, 3D.NY was able to secure a win at 10-8 and avoid going into overtime against coL.

3D.NY Wins Both in Double-Header

Posted by: toast

Looking much improved since last night's devastating loss to Skull Gaming, 3D.NY showed their true colors tonight as they breezed through a double-header. Kicking the night off, 3D.NY wasted no dispatching NEG in two straight maps. Following suit, they then went to do the same to GH, winning the match in consecutive maps. All together a great night for 3D.NY who with these two wins advanced into the next round of qualification for CEVO.

Skull Downs 3D.NY in 3

Posted by: toast

Unfortunately for 3D, all good things must come to an end and Skull proved that tonight. Although it took them three maps, Skull managed to beat the heavily favored 3D.NY Squad. All things considered, it was a great series and although 3D didn't come out on top, it's not a deal breaker for CEVO just yet. The guys will be back in action tomorrow night so be sure to keep yourself glued to the 3D site for all the latest CEVO Updates.
