3D's Incredible Season Comes to an End

Unfortunately for 3D.NY, their dreams of a World Finals Championship went up in smoke today as San Francisco proved to be the better team. 3D.NY should hold their heads up high however as they have improved leaps and bounds since last season and nearly reached the finals which eluded them last year. I'd like the wish the remaining Region 1 Franchises the best of luck and congratulated San Francisco on their win today.

Nick "n0it" Nowakowski has been awarded with the first ever CGS Rookie of the Year title thanks to a public vote live on DirecTV. While nicKn0it has truly played an instrumental role in the transformation of 3D it takes an entire team effort to bring home a victory which he mentioned when accepting his prestigious award. A bittersweet award as it came off the heels of an uncharacteristic loss to the Carolina Core with his family in attendance, nicKn0it and all of 3D.NY look forward to tomorrow as it brings a new day.

Carolina Victorious, 3D.NY Still Alive

Carolina Core proved once again why they should never be underestimated as they just gave 3D.NY a beating which they won't soon forget. 3D.NY had every opportunity to excel and at the end of the day they just dropped the ball. Even with this loss, 3D.NY still has a chance to make the CGS Playoffs. For that to happen they must beat San Francisco Optx and also beat the London Mint. As always we will be providing live coverage of tomorrow’s matches as 3D.NY attempts to fight their way back into the CGS World Finals.

 

3D.NY Predictions: Carolina Core

This is the 4th time these two franchises have battled each other but it all starts anew tonight. The winner of today’s match advances into the CGS Region 1 Finals and I fully expect that to be 3D.NY. 3D.NY has incredible depth in all their divisions but Carolina Core matches up as good as any team out there. This should be a close match with 3D.NY seizing a narrow victory.
